Final Stages of Development by Bani Hasan Municipality
The Bani Hasan Municipality is in the final stages of preparing the park, located near the Wadi Al-Sadr Dam. The project aims to utilize the site’s natural potential to ensure comfort and enjoyment for visitors, thereby enhancing the site’s natural beauty.
Park Features, Progress
Spanning 18,000 square meters, the park initially features a mosque, restrooms, a guard room, an open theater, and decorative elements like lighting poles, walkways, and pavements.
Moreover, it offers green spaces, shades, fountains, and play areas.
Currently 92% complete, it boasts 7,278 square meters of grass. Additionally, there are 700 square meters of play spaces, and approximately 2,200 square meters for trees, flowers, and agricultural beds.
Furthermore, the design incorporates 15 benches, waste bins, and handrails over 250 meters of walkways and terraces.
Importantly, all these elements are integrated while thoughtfully preserving the site’s natural terrain.
Municipality’s Goals for Tourism, Investment
The municipality aims, through this project and others, to develop the tourism and investment sector in the governorate. It focuses on providing recreational spaces for residents, expatriates, and visitors throughout the year.
