The Visual Arts Authority, in cooperation with the Fashion Authority, has launched the Open Studio event of the second version of “Art and Fashion Encounter with a New Vision” at Studio H18 in Riyadh.
The event is open to the public from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, marking the conclusion of this artistic residency.
Participant Showcase
The opening session of the second edition showcased the diverse creations of 14 participants, including seven Saudis: textile designer Bandari Al-Jaaid, fashion designers Bashair Al-Hatami, Tahera Al-Sheikh, Nada Qari, Nahal Al-Aqil.
Residency Projects, Themes
Within the residency program, each participant will engage in the pursuit of a personal research project.
Furthermore, the works undertaken by these talented residents delve into a diverse range of compelling topics. As a result of their artistic endeavors, they skillfully interweave various subjects and stories, forming a rich tapestry of perspectives.
