The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has reviewed part of its preparations to receive the first batch of pilgrims from outside the Kingdom, scheduled to arrive soon. Actually, most of the hotels in Makkah are getting ready for the umrah visitors.
The official in the General Administration of Services and Housing, Omar Mandoura, explained during a video clip about the stages of receiving umrah visitors and pilgrims to drive them for housing them in hotels. He confirmed that upon their arrival at the airport, they would check-in the hotel. Their luggage will then be sterilized upon the buses’ arrival at the hotel and then help them reach their rooms.
He stated that the umrah visitors and pilgrims would receive all services in the rooms during the sanitary isolation period, which lasts for three days, stressing that a number of thermal inspection points have been placed upon entering the hotel, in addition to floor signs that regulate the process of physical distancing.
The Kingdom is preparing to receive pilgrims’ first batches from abroad after the Corona pandemic at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
