Three Saudi cities host the “Musical Theater” program

Saudi Theater and Performing Arts Authority revealed on Sunday, the opening of registration for the “Music Theatre” program.

The program falls under the Talent Development Initiative (one of the Authority’s strategic initiatives), which targets practitioners and those interested in musical theatre.

The program will be held in three cities in Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah.

The training program highlights basic skills in the field of musical theater and targets current practitioners in the sector, including actors, singers, directors, and dancers.

The Theater and Performing Arts Authority set the schedule for implementing the program through specialized training workshops in the three cities.

The start will be from the city of Riyadh from 25 September to 13 October, and then in Dammam from 2 to 20 October.

The program will be concluded in Jeddah during the period from 9 to 27 October of the current year 2022.

The program stems from the authority’s keenness to develop the Saudi theater industry, develop its cultural content, and raise levels of awareness of the forms of performing arts.
