The SPA News Academy will take part in the Student Film Festival 2025, hosted by King Abdulaziz University from December 2–4 at the King Faisal Conference Center. The festival brings together a wide range of students, experts, and filmmakers from various universities. The academy will join the festival as a sponsor of the event’s artificial intelligence track.
As part of its participation, the academy is presenting the Media Creativity Incubator track, showcasing the work of selected university students enrolled in SPA’s AI content production camp.
Additionally, the track highlights innovative projects in which students applied AI technologies to write scripts, design scenes, and create visual elements—demonstrating their readiness for modern content-creation environments.
The academy is also hosting an interactive pavilion within the exhibition, illustrating the journey “from idea to screen.” The pavilion offers visitors hands-on experience with contemporary visual-generation and digital-enhancement tools, providing insight into how AI can be integrated into short-film production workflows and how concepts can be transformed into cinematic scenes.

Additionally, the festival program will feature the academy’s involvement in its seventh session.
SPA News Academy CEO Tariq AlShaikh will deliver a presentation on the methodology behind SPA’s AI camp and its role in preparing a new generation capable of developing production solutions using modern technologies, while strengthening their creative skills and output.
