Refunding the Money from Snapchat Celebrities

A Saudi lawyer has specified a condition for the advertisers to refund and recover the money they paid to Snapchat celebrities after discovering the true numbers of followers of their accounts.

Lawyer Muhammad Al-Waqidi said in an interview on the “Al-Akhbariya” channel that lawsuits have been filed in this regard to demand the recovery of advertisements money, which requires documented contracts between the two parties.

He pointed out that companies can recover their money if they have notarized contracts with these celebrities, as well as demand compensation in addition to prosecuting them for a criminal incident related to fraud or forgery.
