Six Companies Win Ideal Housing Initiative Awards

In a significant acknowledgment of excellence, six companies have been distinguished with awards from the Ideal Housing Initiative. This initiative is an integral component of the national effort led by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. Its primary focus is on fostering the development of communal housing for individuals across industrial cities and special economic zones.

Recognizing Excellence in Housing

The awarded companies have made noteworthy contributions to the enhancement of living conditions for workers. Among these, Utility Works Limited stands out for its management of a worker’s village in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City. Moreover, this exceptional project caught the attention of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Similarly, Namariq Arabian Services Limited received accolades from the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority for its distinguished service. Furthermore, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON” acknowledged four additional companies.

These include Hemma Partnerships, Al Diyar Residential Complexes Company, New Products Industries “NEPROPLAST”, and Housing Support Company, each contributing uniquely to the housing landscape.

Rigorous Evaluation Process

The selection process for these awards was meticulous and comprehensive. By the end of the fourth quarter of 2023, a total of 100 candidates had undergone evaluation. Additionally, this rigorous assessment resulted in identifying 628 housing units within industrial cities that exemplify the initiative’s standards.

Aiming for Sustainable Development

The goals of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources extend beyond mere construction. These initiatives  are designed to streamline licensing, enhance monitoring, raise awareness, and cultivate a culture of healthy living environments. Furthermore, this multifaceted approach involves collaboration with various authorities, including the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and MODON.

Strengthening Group Housing for Individuals

Parallel to these efforts, the National Program for Group Housing Development represents a cornerstone of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing’s mission. In conclusion, this program is committed to improving the collective housing system for individuals, aiming to create accommodating and conducive living conditions for workers throughout the Kingdom. Such initiatives are pivotal to the Quality of Life Program, itself a critical component of “Vision 2030”.
