Saudi oil exports rose to 7.44 million barrels last December

 

Data from The Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI) showed that Saudi crude exports rose by 157 thousand barrels per day to 7.44 million barrels per day in December.

 

The data showed that crude production in Saudi Arabia fell by 33 thousand barrels per day to 10.44 million barrels per day in December.

 

It noted that global oil demand rose by 1.3 million barrels per day in December, reaching a new record.

 

The monthly report of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) showed that Saudi Arabia’s oil production increased by 54,000 barrels per day during January 2022.

 

Production rose to about 10 million barrels per day, the highest production level since April 2020 (21 months), continuing to rise for the tenth month in a row, according to secondary sources that OPEC relies on.

 

While the “OPEC” report revealed official Saudi data indicating an increase in oil production by 123 thousand barrels per day in January 2022, bringing its production to about 10.145 million barrels per day.

 

According to secondary sources, the total production of “OPEC” increased by 64 thousand barrels per day last January, to reach 27.981 million barrels per day.

 

This came with the support of the increase in the production of Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, by 81 thousand barrels per day, 54 thousand barrels per day, and 44,000 barrels per day daily in a row.

 

Nigeria’s total production amounted to 1.4 million barrels per day, while the UAE produced 2.9 million barrels per day.

 

Saudi Arabia is the largest oil producer within OPEC, and its oil production is equivalent to about 35.7% of the total production of OPEC countries.

 

Kuwait increased its oil production by 27 thousand barrels per day to reach 2.58 million barrels per day last January, according to secondary sources.

 

At the same time, Libya’s production decreased by 45 thousand barrels per day to reach 1.008 million barrels, and Iraq’s production fell by 27 thousand barrels per day to 4.24 million barrels per day last January.
