Women’s Forum in Cyber Security will be held in the Kingdom’s capital, Riyadh, in the start of next year 2022, according to the National Cybersecurity Authority.
It will take place on “Tuesday and Wednesday,” which corresponds to March 1-2, 2022 AD, and will feature a variety of cybersecurity experts, academics, and researchers.
The forum aims to enhance women’s participation in cybersecurity, in addition to introducing the available opportunities in education and training, in order to qualify for work in the areas of cybersecurity.
It will also cover a variety of subjects, including the current state of women’s representation in cybersecurity, as well as initiatives to create national skills through education and training programmes, as well as methods to improve such efforts.
The topics of the forum include working to discuss the possibilities of employment, in addition to the leadership empowerment of women in the areas of cybersecurity, namely:
- Providing specialized professional training.
- On-the-job training to acquire skills.
- Exchange of experiences.
- A review of the successes of Saudi women.
- Discussing ways to enable it and its leadership in the areas of cybersecurity.
The Women’s Forum is part of the National Cyber Security Authority’s goal of developing qualified national cyber cadres and increasing women’s participation in that field in order to fulfil the Kingdom’s vision goals.
