The new headquarters of the Unified Military Command in Riyadh was inaugurated under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Defense, and with the participation of the defense ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The defense ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council were welcomed at the headquarters by Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council, and Lieutenant-General Eid bin Awad Al-Shalawi, Commander of the Unified Military Command.
Dr. Nayef Falah expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the GCC countries for their continued assistance in all spheres to serve the security of his country and its residents on behalf of the Commander of the Unified Military Command and all of its officers.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Saudi government for hosting the headquarters of the unified military command in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is one of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s most visible military gains.
It is considered a deterrent to protect its citizens and their gains from any external threat attempting to undermine its security and stability,
The unified military command will maintain its stability and capabilities with the presence of a unified force of GCC states consisting of land, air, sea, and air defense, commensurate with the threats facing the region.
