Saudi MOI Launches Health Awareness Campaign for Ramadan

The Medical Services of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) has launched an awareness campaign aimed at promoting healthy habits during fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative covers a range of topics crucial for the well-being of individuals observing the fast.

The campaign focuses on several key areas, including the adoption of a healthy diet, proper management of various diseases and conditions, and guidelines for organizing medication intake. Additionally, it aims to correct some common misconceptions about fasting and health.

Daily Awareness Segments on X Platform

As part of the campaign, the Medical Services will present daily awareness segments under the title “30×30” through their official account on the X platform and their news channel. These segments will highlight the best health practices for fasting patients and provide guidance on preventing complications associated with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, asthma, and gastroesophageal reflux. The importance of adhering to medical advice and maintaining regular medical follow-ups during the fasting period will also be emphasized.

This campaign is part of the broader efforts by the Medical Services of the Ministry of Interior to enhance public health. By collaborating with partner entities, the campaign seeks to establish health prevention concepts and raise health awareness within the community. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the overall well-being and health of the community during the holy month of Ramadan.
