Saudi Ministry of Culture celebrates the success of the Saudi Coffee Year 2022 initiative

The Saudi Ministry of Culture is organizing the closing ceremony of the Saudi Coffee Year 2022 initiative, under the auspices of HRH Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, in the presence of a number of officials and a group of intellectuals and interested people, at the Palace of Culture in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh to highlight the achievements of the initiative throughout the year.

During the ceremony, there will be an overview of the most notable achievements of the qualitative initiative during the year 2022, including the numerous activities, events, and partnerships with government, private, and non-profit sector organizations, as well as a salute to the cafes and roasters that contributed to its success.

There will be awards for individuals with interactive ideas, as well as government and private agencies. The ceremony will also include a review of the initiative’s contribution to highlighting the authentic cultural aspects related to Saudi coffee based on the values of hospitality and generosity.

It is noteworthy that the “Year of Saudi Coffee 2022” initiative was launched by the Ministry of Culture early last year with the support of the Quality of Life Program “one of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030”, through which it focuses on creating innovative ideas that ensure the enhancement of the presence of Saudi coffee, in addition to organizing competitions and events for community members to ensure a high level of community participation, and make Saudi coffee an authentic symbol of generosity and hospitality in the Kingdom.
