Saudi Minister of Commerce meets with ministers & officials of major firms during FII

The Saudi Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, met recently with the State of the former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, the Finnish Minister of Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Phil Skinari, the Greek Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, and the Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Noureddin Nebti, in light of the work of the first day of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in its sixth session, which will be held in Riyadh from 25-27 October 2022.

 

During the meetings, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the National Competitiveness Center, Dr. Eman bint Habbas Al-Mutairi, he discussed ways to develop joint relations and enhance trade and economic exchange.

 

The Saudi Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, met with Blackstone Group Chairman Stephen Schwarzman, Standard Chartered Group Chairman Bill Winter, Vice President of Amazon Middle East and Ronaldo Mouchawar, and CEO of PepsiCo in Africa and the Middle East Eugene Willemson.

 

They discussed promoting innovation, developing technologies, and industries, and investing in promising opportunities in Vision 2030.

 

Al-Qasabi’s meetings included the fields of business development, e-commerce, and technology with the President of Connie Anti-Herlin, President of Entertainment Media Venture Sanford Kleiman, President of Standard Industrial and David Milestone, and Head of the International Department of BNY Hani Kablawi.
