Saudi King, Crown Prince Congratulate Sheikh Mishal for Assuming Reins of Power

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a congratulatory telegram to His Highness C Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The telegram is on the occasion of naming Sheikh Mishal as Emir of the State of Kuwait, reported Saudi Press Agency.

The King said, “We congratulate Your Highness on your accession to power in Kuwait. You will continue the path led by the dearly departed brother, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah – may God have mercy on him and grant him paradise. We affirm Saudi Arabia’s support for Kuwait.” He added that KSA looks forward to working with Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad for the benefit of both countries. Moreover, he prayed for contuining growth and prosperity in Kuwait.

 

Likewise, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a congratulatory telegram to  Sheikh Mishal on the occasion of his accession to power in Kuwait.

The Crown Prince said, “I congratulate Your Highness on assuming the reins of power in Kuwait, continuing the journey led by the late, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.”

KSA Mourns Passing of Kuwaiti Emir

The King and the Crown Prince mourned the passing of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Saudi leaders expressed their deep condolences to the Al-Sabah family and the people of Kuwait.
