Saudi Industry Minister, Syrian Counterpart Visit Made in Saudi Expo

Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar toured the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the third annual Made in Saudi Expo 2025, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

During the visit, the two ministers reviewed initiatives aimed at localizing expenditure on military and advanced technological systems, while supporting national products and advancing homegrown solutions across the security and service sectors.

The showcase featured the Saudi-made “Al-Dahna” armored vehicle, the Ministry of Interior’s digital platform “Absher,” as well as the “ASEF II” drone, developed to support environmental security and sustainability objectives.

Both ministers also explored a vast array of digital services provided to citizens, residents and visitors, along with major development projects being implemented by the ministry and its various security sectors.

The Kingdom has selected Syria as the Guest of Honor at the third edition of the “Made in Saudi” exhibition that is currently taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.

Organized by the Saudi Export Development Authority, the exhibition reflects the evolving economic partnership between Saudi Arabia and Syria.

It further reaffirms the shared commitment of both countries to further strengthening industrial collaboration and expanding mutual cooperation frameworks.

The Syrian pavilion features more than 25 companies representing various industrial and service sectors.

Notably, the exhibition provides Syrian companies with a dynamic platform to expand Arab industrial networks, exchange expertise with regional manufacturers and investors, and collectively elevate the cross-border industrial ecosystem.
