Saudi Foreign Minister holds official talks with Albanian Prime Minister
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met on (Saturday) with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama, who received him, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Mrs. Olta Gačka.
During the reception, the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Muhammad bin Salman, to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania and the brotherly Albanian government and people, while the Prime Minister conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The two sides held a session of official talks, during which they reviewed the relations of friendship and mutual respect between the two countries, the two brotherly peoples, and discussed strengthening aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and ways to support and develop them, in addition to discussing regional and international developments and efforts made in their regard.
The talks session dealt with ways to consolidate the economic partnership between the two brotherly countries in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in addition to discussing the intensification of cooperation between the Kingdom and Albania in the political and economic fields, increasing inter-investment and bilateral coordination in regional and international issues of common interest, and everything that would enhance international peace and security.
The talks session reviewed the Kingdom’s international efforts to preserve the planet, and what was included in the Crown Prince’s announcement of the “Green Saudi Arabia” and “Green Middle East” initiatives, which will chart the Kingdom and the region’s direction in protecting the land and nature.
