Saudi Energy Minister at FII: “People’s well-being, energy security and growth are our main concern”

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman stressed, that the Kingdom strategy is based on 3 main pillars, energy security, growth and the welfare of the people, and it is proceeding according to them. This came during his participation in the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Summit 2021, in Riyadh.

During his speech at the FII session dubbed”Science in Action Investing in the Circular Carbon Economy” within the activities of the second day of the investment initiative, he said that the financing of the carbon circular economy program will reach 10 billion within 10 years.

Saudi Energy Minister explained that this program represents the best humanitarian initiative that can be extracted from the Future Investment Initiative.

He added: The Kingdom is preparing to launch an energy strategy soon, noting that the strategy is an embodiment of the Green Saudi and Green Middle East initiatives.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman indicated that the biggest challenge we are facing now is climate change.
