Because of the recent wave of hurricanes that have impacted some states, the Saudi Embassy in Washington has issued a caution to Saudi citizens living in the United States of America.
Citizens in the states of «Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee» were informed by the embassy through its official account on the social networking site «Twitter».
It also emphasized the importance of following local authorities’ instructions in each of the stated states and asked that in the event of an emergency, use the contact numbers listed on the embassy’s website.
“The embassy would like to warn the honorable residents of the wave of hurricanes that have affected the states (Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee) and emphasizes the necessity of following the local authorities’ directions in each state,” it stated in a tweet.
A series of severe hurricanes have hit the aforementioned states, killing at least 100 people, destroying buildings, cutting off roads, and disrupting basic utilities.
