Saudi Education Minister chairs KSU Council meeting

Saudi Education Minister Professor Youssef Al-Bunyan chaired the meeting of the King Saud University (KSU) Council, in its sixth session. 


The meeting was attended by the President of the University, Dr. Badran Al-Omar, the university’s deputies, and the deans of the faculties. 


This came during His Excellency’s visit today to the university, and during the meeting they discussed a number of topics on the agenda of the session. 


The minister then went to the university facilities, starting with the Max Planck lab and the King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology laboratories at the College of Science. 


He listened to an explanation of the latest developments and research presented at the Institute. 


The Saudi Education Minister was also briefed on the laboratories of the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing in the College of Engineering and, visited the College of Architecture and Planning, 


He watched the projects of the College’s students, and then toured the Arena Sports Complex. 


The visit included the Medical City projects at the university, where he met the Executive Director of the Medical City, Dr. Ahmed Al-Harsi. 


 The Saudi Education Minister listened to an explanation of the medical city’s projects and the advanced medical services it provides to the community.
