Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support of international efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine crisis politically, in a way that preserves regional and international security and stability. This came during the cabinet session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday, in Riyadh.
The Russia-Ukraine crisis started on February 24 2022. More than 7 million people have fled across borders to seek safety since Russia deployed its military into neighboring Ukraine.
During the session, the Cabinet reviewed the content of the talks that took place between the Kingdom and a number of brotherly and friendly countries in the past days. To consolidate the bonds of joint cooperation, upgrade relations, and push them to broader horizons.
Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs, and Acting Minister of Information, Dr. Essam bin Saeed, stated that the council dealt with a number of issues and developments in the region and the world.
The Council of Ministers reviewed the topics on its agenda, including topics that the Shura Council participated in studying, as well as the conclusions of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Council of Political and Security Affairs, the General Committee of the Council of Ministers, and the Council of Experts in the Council of Ministers.
