Saudi Crown Prince tells national team to ‘play without pressure’ at World Cup
HRH Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with the Saudi national football team on Sunday, October 23, to cheer them on ahead of their participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
The Crown Prince congratulated the team, the players, and those in charge of them for qualifying and praised their strenuous efforts to reach the World Cup
He added that he knows very well how difficult the group will compete this year and that he does not yearn for a draw or a first win, but he wants the team to enjoy and play comfortably.
For his part, the Saudi Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz Al Saud, affirmed that leadership is the basis of support, promising that the team is determined to provide their maximum effort to be worthy of the Kingdom.
The Saudi Crown Prince expressed his desire for the players to enjoy the matches without any psychological pressure
This is the sixth participation of the Saudi national team in the World Cup. Saudi Arabia plays in Group C alongside Argentina, Mexico, and Poland.
