Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, and the Defense Minister, Khalid bin Salman, held separate talks with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, and his accompanying delegation in Jeddah, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Saudi Crown Prince on Tuesday received Araghchi in Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. During their meeting, they reviewed the relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
They also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts made towards addressing them. In the light of this, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed Saudi Arabia’s aspirations that the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel would help in paving the way for enhancing regional security and stability.

The Saudi Crown Prince also underscored the Kingdom’s firm support for dialogue and diplomacy in settling disputes.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, for his part, extended his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its stance on condemning the Israeli aggression against Iran, appreciating the Saudi Crown Prince’s efforts in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.
Several high-ranking Saudi officials attended the meeting, including Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman; Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan; and Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Adviser, Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.
In a separate meeting at his office in Jeddah, the Saudi Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman, reviewed bilateral ties and explored avenues for cooperation with Araghchi.

The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the region and efforts made to promote regional and international security and stability. Moreover, they exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
Earlier on Tuesday, Araghchi met with the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, where they discussed the Saudi-Iranian relations and the latest regional developments.
