Saudi Arabia will celebrate Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) Day on March 27, reaffirming its national commitment to environmental sustainability and the fight against climate change.
As the Kingdom counts down to SGI Day, widespread participation highlights how deeply sustainability has taken root in Saudi society.
Throughout Ramadan, SGI has engaged the public through interactive campaigns promoting eco-conscious actions. The Green Ramadan Mosaic continues to grow as citizens share images of their sustainable practices, turning individual efforts into a collective symbol of environmental dedication.
Namour, SGI’s mascot, has brought communities together with the “30 Deeds in 30 Days” challenge, inspiring environmental pledges in schools and neighborhoods across the country. Participants have showcased how people of all ages are embracing green values during the holy month. The nationwide challenge’s top three winners will be announced during SGI Day celebrations.
