Saudi Arabia will host the Middle East edition of the “BIO / CPHI” Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Development Forum in Riyadh from May 11–13. The event will be held at the Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and organized by Tahaluf.
Bringing this prominent forum to Saudi Arabia reflects growing international confidence in the Kingdom’s healthcare investment landscape and regulatory framework. It also demonstrates the country’s readiness to spearhead regional transformation in biotechnology and pharmaceutical development. The event also supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering an innovation-driven economy and strengthening the sustainability and global competitiveness of the healthcare sector.

The forum is expected to attract more than 60,000 participants from over 100 countries, alongside more than 1,000 global brands, creating a dynamic international platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

Through this initiative, the Ministry of Health seeks to accelerate pharmaceutical localization, increase the healthcare sector’s contribution to GDP, broaden investment opportunities, empower national healthcare talent, and enhance the Kingdom’s global engagement in building a world-class, competitive health ecosystem.
