Saudi Arabia supports UN efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian crisis
The Saudi Cabinet supports the contents of the statement issued by the International Quartet on Yemen, which included condemning the military reinforcements of the Houthi militia and its attacks inside Yemen that threatened to disrupt the truce.
It also gives full support to the efforts of the UN Special Envoy to extend and expand the truce, and the full implementation of all its conditions.
The Council also affirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for efforts aimed at finding a political solution that would lead to an end to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and to continue contributing at the humanitarian level to alleviating its effects.
The Saudi Cabinet thanked the Russian and Ukrainian governments for their cooperation and response to the mediation of His Highness the Crown Prince in releasing prisoners of various nationalities, as part of his efforts to adopt humanitarian initiatives.
