Saudi Arabia Shares Ramadan Spirit with Massive Iftars in Asia

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance hosted a large-scale Ramadan iftar banquet in Solo, Indonesia on Friday. This event launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ 1446 AH iftar program. Over 20,000 attendees gathered at the 2,800-square-meter venue, with 20 local restaurants preparing meals. Rain shelters, ambulances, and security teams ensured safety and order.

Expanding Reach: Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia

Additionally, the ministry organized iftar meals at Kyrgyzstan’s Imam Sarakhsi Mosque. Attendees praised the program’s support for Muslim communities. Meanwhile, in Malaysia, a Friday iftar in Kuala Lumpur continued the initiative.

This year, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ iftar program spans 61 countries, easing Ramadan burdens and spreading joy. Beyond meals, the ministry distributes dates, Qurans, and organizes religious activities.

By uniting diverse communities through shared traditions, Saudi Arabia continues to champion global Islamic solidarity and compassion. The ministry’s efforts strengthen global Islamic unity. Each event reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering community spirit during Ramadan.
