At the 108th session of the Executive Council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Saudi Arabia’s permanent delegation reiterated its commitment to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
The delegation emphasized that the use of chemical weapons constitutes a crime and voiced support for Palestine’s request for monitoring. It also welcomed progress on the Syrian chemical weapons issue, urging continued cooperation to achieve a resolution.
Additionally, the delegation commended the outcomes of the Rabat AI conference on the implementation of the CWC.
