Saudi Arabia: More than 10K people received vaccine against Corona

The number of people in Saudi Arabia who registered to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against Corona as of Wednesday reached more than half a million people, in the largest vaccination campaign against a virus carried out by the Kingdom throughout its history.

The number of those who have received the vaccine so far, in preliminary numbers, has exceeded 10,000 people at the Vaccination Center in the capital, Riyadh, whose capacity began to expand to accommodate the increasing numbers of those wishing to take the vaccine.

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced on its Twitter account that 178,500 people had registered to receive a vaccine against the Coronavirus.

It stressed that the vaccine is safe, approved and effective, and it does not affect genes, stressing that the American company Pfizer confirmed the effectiveness of the vaccine also against the new strain of Corona.
