The Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fumio Iwai, indicated that the Kingdom has become a global tourist destination; due to its promising tourist, cultural, historical and civilizational potential.
During his visit today to the Japanese anime village in City Walk as part of the Jeddah Season activities, he expressed his happiness with the Japanese shows presented within the season’s activities and dedicated part of the season to the exchange of cultures between the two friendly countries.
The Japanese ambassador was briefed on the most prominent international events and experiences, services provided to the public, and the level of organization in the event areas.
He praised the development of the entertainment sector in the Kingdom, the diversity of events, and the multiplicity of options in front of the public.
He stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the tourism and entertainment sectors in the Kingdom and Japan, in a way that supports the entertainment industry in the Kingdom.
He expressed his admiration for the Jeddah season, the delicate diversity of event locations, and the season’s keenness that its activities suit all segments of society.
