Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, explored avenues for deepening industrial and mining cooperation with the US and France, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
On the sidelines of the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026, taking place in Los Angeles, Al-Khorayef met with the US Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, Jacob Helberg.
During their meeting, the two officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors. They also explored prominent investment opportunities as well as ways to develop strategic partnerships to support sustainable economic growth in both countries.
Additionally, Al-Khorayef held discussions with the French Ambassador for International Investments, Pascal Cagni, during which they explored opportunities for enhancing industrial and mining cooperation and developing investment partnerships.
The two officials also discussed expanding cooperation horizons between Saudi Arabia and France in priority sectors.
In both meetings, Al-Khorayef underscored the Kingdom’s commitment to broadening the scope of cooperation with international partners, strengthening strategic partnerships, and attracting high-quality investments in targeted sectors, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The Saudi Minister also highlighted the Kingdom’s attractive and stable investment environment, which supports the growth of the industrial and mining sectors.
Al-Khorayef’s participation in the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026 aligns with Saudi Arabia’s efforts to build strategic international partnerships that bolster the growth of the industrial and mining sectors and establish the Kingdom’s status as a leading industrial powerhouse and a global mining hub.
