Saudi Arabia’s Film Commission has signed a strategic partnership with the Korean Film Council to boost Film industry in the Kingdom and South Korea, according to Arab News.
The collaboration seeks to enhance cultural exchange, production cooperation, talent development as well as technological innovation.
The partnership also stands as a testament to both countries’ dedication to empowering filmmakers and unleashing new promising opportunities for creative professionals.
Through this collaboration, both entities will provide workshops, training programs, master classes, as well as mentorship opportunities supervised by film industry experts.
Therefore, filmmakers will have an exclusive opportunity to refine their skills in production, animation, directing, and screenwriting.
Moreover, Saudi and South Korean filmmakers can seize the opportunity and produce joint projects.
As for film festivals, both countries will make networking and collaboration easier through major film festivals such as the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia and the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
