Saudi Arabia Completes Final Stage of Professional Verification Service

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the completion of the final stage of its “Professional Verification” service, Gulf News reported.

As part of its “Professional Accreditation” initiative, the program expanded to 160 labor-exporting countries.

Designed in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the program seeks to make sure that expatriate workers meet the academic, scientific, and practical skill requirements of the Saudi labor market before their arrival.

Crucially, the program comes after a Cabinet decision demanding the verification of workers’ qualifications to align with local labor standards.

The service basically targets highly skilled professions and evaluates workers’ efficiency through the verification of their academic qualifications.

Moreover, the program aligns with various standards, for instance the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations and the Saudi Unified Classification of Educational Levels and Specializations.

In collaboration with relevant government agencies, the program boasts 1,007 professions under the Professional Verification plan. It concentrates on groups 1-3 professions for example engineering and health roles.

Through a unified platform, the fully automated service offers seamless and smoothy experiences.
