Saudi Arabia cancels Korean band ‘Stray Kids’ concert and refunds tickets

Due to the inclement weather in the Saudi capital, Riyadh Season has entirely canceled the concert of the Korean band “Stray Kids” and artist Chungha.

The Riyadh season’s organizers announced that the value of tickets purchased will be reimbursed to the purchaser’s “wallet” at the ticket purchase site.

Last week, the band and its lead singer, Kim Chungha, were supposed to play a K-pop concert on the “Boulevard Plus” area adjacent to the “Boulevard Riyadh City,” but bad weather forced them to cancel.

According to a video posted by the band on its official Twitter account, the “Stray Kids” band received a warm welcome at Riyadh airport.

Despite its short artistic life (it debuted in March 2018), the Stray Kids band has a strong following among young people in particular.
