The Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Faisal Al-Ibrahim, discussed with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands, Ms. Liesje Schreinemacher, ways to enhance trade exchange between the two countries and investment opportunities.
They also explored cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, agriculture, and tourism, in addition to topics of mutual interest. This discussion took place on the sidelines of the G20 Development Ministerial Meeting.
The two ministers emphasized the importance of developing economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands, and opening new horizons for cooperation in various vital fields to enhance economic growth and sustainable development for both countries.
The meeting also addressed ways to improve investment infrastructure and facilitate procedures for companies, contributing to attracting foreign direct investments between the two countries.
Both parties expressed optimism that these measures would lead to a significant increase in cross-border investments and economic collaboration. They also acknowledged the potential for these actions to create new job opportunities and strengthen trade relations between their countries. Additionally, both sides committed to ongoing dialogue to ensure the successful implementation of these initiatives.
