Saudi Arabia allows Schengen, UK and US visas’ holders to enter without restrictions
Numerous local Saudi media outlets reported on Thursday that the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation has defined new procedures related to entry of non-Saudi travelers, regardless of their nationalities, to the territory of the Kingdom.
Those measures that have entered into force exempt holders of Schengen visas, UK and USA visas from the Saudi Arabia visa application in advance, as they receive the Saudi visa at airports.
The authority issued a document outlining the conditions for entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the purpose of tourism through Schengen visas, Britain and the United States, as it requires its holders that their visas be valid from the date of arrival in Saudi Arabia until their departure and that the passport of the visa be stamped even once from the country that granted it.
The new procedures were distributed to the various air carriers who provide flights to Saudi airports, where they were entrusted with the task of verifying the specific conditions.
Saudi Arabia announced last September that it would open its doors to tourists from all over the world by allocating new visas within the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030.
