Saudi aid agency KSrelief’s Noor Saudi volunteer project launched a significant campaign last month to combat blindness and its causes in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), KSrelief’s volunteer medical team has examined 4,000 cases.
Throughout a one-week campaign, the medical staff has performed 406 specialized eye surgeries and distributed 1,154 pairs of eyeglasses.
As one of the KSrelief’s humanitarian and relief projects, the initiative aims to elevate the medical sector and alleviate patients’ suffering from eye diseases in several countries.
