Royal Reserve Development Authority Launches Its 2nd Festival in Sour Park

On Tuesday, the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority  launched its second festival at the Al-Sour Archaeological Park in the Tayma Governorate, part of the Tabuk region.

The event will continue for five days, attended by the Governor of Tayma, Saad Al-Sudairy, targeting locals, residents in the area and neighboring regions, according to Saudi Press Agency.

Festival Objectives, Activities

The Authority stated that the festival aims to showcase key tourist and recreational spots in the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve and, furthermore, engage the local community in its activities.

Additionally, the festival features events like crafts, traditional market activities, children’s events, and art evenings. Moreover, it includes tree planting and agricultural activities, as well as a selection of unique restaurants and cafes.

Support Services, Free Entry

The Authority emphasized its commitment to providing numerous support services of high quality. It ensured enjoyment and benefit for the festival’s visitors. Entry to the events will be free throughout the duration of the festival.

Finally, It’s noteworthy that the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve is the largest wildlife reserve in the Middle East.  It covers an area of over 130,000 square kilometers. It is located between four administrative regions: Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, and the Northern Borders.
