Roshn Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism to help strengthen the Kingdom’s national tourism strategy. The goals include receiving 150 million tourists and providing one million tourism-related jobs by 2030.
Engineer Mahmoud Abdel Hadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism for Empowering Tourist Destinations, said: “We are proud of Roshn’s pioneering role at the national level in developing destinations and communities. Moreover, we look forward to cooperating with it on the best ways to support the Kingdom’s goals in the tourism sector, especially in accordance with the directions of the National Tourism Strategy.”
Yassin Qattan, head of the Strategy and Corporate Affairs Department at Roshn, stated that the group’s portfolio, which includes communities and destinations across the Kingdom, helps establish the Kingdom as a global destination. He also emphasized that their cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism aligns with developments that offer distinctive experiences for everyone, focusing on quality of life and entertainment. Moreover, this effort supports Roshn’s commitment to achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
The memorandum of cooperation aims to enhance tourism capabilities and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and improve the quality of life for citizens, residents, and visitors. Additionally, the “Roshn” group’s development portfolio includes retail and entertainment sectors to provide top services for future community residents.
