Riyadh will host the eighth Global Health Exhibition from October 27 to 30 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Themed “Invest in Health,” the exhibition will feature 2,000 exhibitors, 500 speakers, and over 20 international pavilions.
Organized by the Ministry of Health and supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program, the exhibition will display the latest health and digital innovations.
After achieving breakthroughs such as King Faisal Specialist Hospital’s first robotic heart transplant in 2024 edition, this year’s edition shifts its focus to handling real-world healthcare challenges with innovative solutions.
The last edition also featured major advancements, from pioneering CAR T-cell production for cancer treatment to a virtual reality command center for medical training, as well as the launch of pharmacogenetic analysis services to personalize medications to patients’ needs.
These accomplishments have further enhanced the efficiency of treatment and healthcare services across the Kingdom.
Moreover, the King Abdullah Ear Specialist Center at King Saud University has made a significant milestone by performing a cochlear implant surgery with a robotic hand, mirroring Saudi Arabia’s rapid advances in medical innovation.
Notably, the forum provides healthcare professionals with a significant platform to explore the latest medical innovations, join scientific sessions and workshops, as well as develop their professional networks.
Interestingly, the exhibition also opens doors for students and researchers to present emerging projects, engage in specialized forums, and capture new career opportunities and avenues for cooperation.
