Relief Campaign for Gaza Surpasses SAR 300 Mln.
Entering the fourth day, the relief campaign for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip surpassed SAR 300 mln.
More than half a million people brought donations. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz was the first one to donate 30 million riyals.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman donated SAR 20 mln.
The Advisor to the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeha last Thursday launched the campaign.
Donations will be collected through the “Sahim” platform, affiliated with the King Salman Relief Centre, or the unified bank account that has been allocated to the campaign, confirmed Al-Rabiah.
Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Praises Gaza Campaign
Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti and the head of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing Fatwas Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Sheikh praised the relief campaign for Gaza. The campaign was launched by directives from King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Moreover, his Eminence considered the campaign one of the greatest things that reflects the leadership’s commitment to help the afflicted. It aims to alleviate suffering and help the needy.
His Eminence explained that this generous gesture from the leadership stems from the keenness of the King and the Crown Prince to stand with our brothers in Palestine. It is as an extension of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role throughout history by standing with the afflicted and the needy around the world in various crises and tribulations.
