In a session titled “Halal as a Global Professional Identity,” speakers called for the harmonization of standards within the broader economic system through voluntary adoption by businesses rather than mandatory regulation. They pointed to successful models in other industries, demonstrating how professionalism and trust can strengthen market performance and credibility.
Moreover, the forum emphasized that sustainable growth in the halal sector depends on an integrated business cycle—spanning strategic planning, operational excellence, supply chain management, and customer satisfaction.
