LCGPA Introduces Mandatory Submission of Periodic Industrial Survey via “Industry” Platform
The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, announced a new requirement mandating the submission of a periodic industrial survey through the Industry platform.
Effective December 1, 2025, completing the survey will be a prerequisite for accessing key services, including:
- Registering a factory or service provider on the mandatory list.
- Adding a product to the national compulsory list of products.
Both the Authority and the Ministry emphasized that submitting the industrial survey is a mandatory condition to benefit from these services. Factories that fail to complete the survey by the deadline will be removed from the national list of local product sources published on the LCGPA website.
The Periodic Industrial Scan Program, launched by the Ministry on February 25, 2025, aims to maintain updated information for all factories across the Kingdom.
Finally, the Ministry urged industrial establishments to promptly update their data through the Industry platform to ensure the accuracy and reliability of national industrial information.
