The events of “Lauri Beach” in Al-Shaqiq Center, part of Al-Darb Governorate, launched its third edition as part of the Jazan Winter Season 2025 activities.
The sky of Al-Shaqiq was adorned with the release of over 1,000 colorful balloons on the first day of the festivities, adding a unique celebratory atmosphere to the venue. Moreover, the events, which will run for 90 days, include a wide range of recreational activities catering to families. These include restaurants, cafes, children’s games, and cozy evening gatherings on the shores of the Al-Shaqiq tourist beach.
The program also features live musical performances, enriching visitors’ experiences and adding an artistic flair to the celebrations.
“Lauri Beach” in Al-Shaqiq, located approximately 150 kilometers from Jazan city, is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the region. Additionally, it boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the Red Sea, offering visitors a chance to enjoy the pristine natural surroundings, pure sands, and clear blue waters—making it an ideal spot for relaxation and sunset-watching.
The Jazan Municipality, represented by the Al-Shaqiq Municipality, has also provided investment opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners, enhancing the beach’s appeal as a distinguished tourist destination that welcomes more than 35,000 visitors annually.
Finally, the beach is solidifying its prominent position on the tourism map of the Kingdom, while promoting local culture and maritime traditions.
