KSrelief Sends Third Relief Ship to Gaza
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) sent the third relief ship to Gaza. Besides Saudi land bridge that is delivering aid to Gaza, KSA has been extending a sea bridge made up of three ships carrying desperately-needed aid to Gaza.
The volume of aid on this ship
The latest of these three ships left Jeddah Islamic Port today heading to Port Said in Egypt. The ship is carrying 300 containers weighing 1246 tons. 200 of which contain medical supplies and 100 are packed with food. The food products include infant formulas.
Second Saudi Relief Plane
In November, the second ship was sent on a two-day trip following the same route from Jeddah Islamic Port to Port Said in Egypt. It was carrying 58 containers, weighing 890 tons of medical aid and food items.
It would take 30 relief planes to carry what this 362 meter-long ship was carrying, said Al Arabiya correspondent.
Unrelenting Support to Gaza
Proceeding from the KSA’s commitment to stand by the Palestinians, the Kingdom was delivering aid not just by sea, but also by air and on land.
The Saudi air bridge to Gaza encompassed 24 relief planes all carrying medical supplies and basic humanitarian needs.
All of these efforts are part of the Kingdom’s national campaign to help the afflicted Gazans during this crisis.
