KSrelief Distributes 25,000 bread bundles in Lebanon
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project in Akkar governorate and Miniyeh district in Lebanon, reported Saudi Press Agency.
Last week, the project distributed 25,000 bundles of bread daily to needy families, including Syrians, Palestinians, and the local host community living in northern Lebanon.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, aiming to assist refugees in various locations where they reside.
The project entered its fourth phase in 2023, in Akkar Governorate and Al-Miniyeh District in Lebanon.
Earlier this year, King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian (KSrelief) distributed 150,000 bread packages to needy families, including Syrians, Palestinians, and the host community residing in northern Lebanon, benefiting 125,000 individuals.
KSrelief Health Efforts
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works (KSrelief‘) initiated the “Noor Saudi Arabia” volunteer program. The program aimed to combat blindness and related diseases in the city of Rosso, in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The program extended its activities from November 17 until November 24, 2023. It aimed to provide essential medical services to those in need.
In addition to the campaign in Mauritania, KSrelief launched the “Noor Saudi Arabia” volunteer program to combat blindness in Lome, the capital city of Togo. This program ran from November 19 to November 25, 2023. It reflected the center’s commitment to extending its humanitarian reach to those affected by eye diseases.
