KSA, France Interior Ministers Meet in Riyadh

Today, Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, KSA Interior Minister, held an official discussion session with the France Interior Minister, Gerald Darmanin, in Riyadh.

At the beginning of the session, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud welcomed the French Minister of the Interior and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom. During the session, both ministers discussed ways of enhancing existing security cooperation paths. They also discussed topics of common interest.

The discussion session witnessed the signing of a joint plan for initiatives and cooperation projects between the Ministries of the Interior of both countries.

The Assistant Minister of Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Battal, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, Mr. Muhammad bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, attended the meeting.

KSA- France Relationship

The relationship between KSA and France has a long history of diplomatic ties and cooperation in various fields. Both countries have maintained strong bilateral relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1926.

Over the years, the relationship has evolved and deepened, with both countries working together on various political, economic, and security issues. Both countries have a long-standing defense partnership, with France being one of the major suppliers of military equipment to KSA.

Economic ties between Saudi Arabia and France have also been strong. Both countries are important trading partners for each other. Despite the strong bilateral relations between KSA and France, there have been some challenges in bilateral relationship in recent years.

Overall, the relationship between Saudi Arabia and France remains strong. Both countries continue to work together on various political, economic, and security issues.
