On the sidelines of the golden round of fencing, conducted at the fencing hall in Prince Saud bin Jalawi city in Al-Khobar – for the three weapons (Al-Baya, Cyber, and Foil), the chairman of the Saudi Fencing Federation, Ahmed Al-Sabban, crowned the winners of the Kingdom’s Championship.

Al Hassnaa Al-Hammad, who won the General Cyber Championship for adults, was the first of five champions, followed by Lynn Al-Fawaz, who won the General Foil Championship. During the season finale, numerous tour champions were crowned.

The tournament came after the Saudi women’s fencing team completed a 10-day preparatory camp for the three weapons (Al-Babi, Cyber, and Foil) in the fencing hall in Prince Saud bin Jalawi city in Al-Rakah, Al-Khobar, and last Thursday.

The camp was held in preparation for the women’s gold round championship “general and under 15 years old,” which ended yesterday with 60 players and a female arbitration crew, as well as the administrative organizing staff, which included Malak Al Sultan, Daad Al Misfer, Lujain Hazazi, and Areej Abed.

Yanina Ianuzzi, an Argentine international referee, and coach were in attendance at the competition to oversee the players’ level and performance.
