Saudi Arabia: 112 new cases of corona and deaths rise to 3

The Ministry of Health spokesman, Muhammad al-Abd al-Aali, announced, on Thursday, that 112 new cases of coronavirus were registered, bringing the total number to 1012.

He also confirmed the recovery of 4 additional cases, bringing the total to 33 cases. “We recorded a new death, bringing the number of deaths to 3 people,” he added.

For his part, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior confirmed that all the roads that lead to Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and Riyadh are under security control.

He continued, “There are people who are reckless about the decision to stop curfew, and the necessary measures have been taken against them.”

He also stressed that the curfew decision stipulated that he should stay in the home, and that it does not mean that the person does his work outside the house, as this is contrary.

In turn, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce said that there are new regulations for markets, “so that the entry for shopping in the form of groups, so as to ensure the highest levels of health reliability”.

This confirmed that there will be offers and discounts for ordering via-line online to come, to avoid crowds.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz agreed earlier Wednesday to take further precautions to reduce the spread of the Corona virus, according to the Saudi Press Agency on Twitter.

 In the interest of the health and safety of citizens and residents, it was decided to start the curfew until three in the afternoon in the following cities: (Riyadh, Mecca, and Medina).

On Monday, King Salman issued an injunction banning the movement from 7 pm to 6 am.
