King Salman officially invites Emir of Kuwait to attend Gulf Summit

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz addressed on Monday the first invitations of the 40th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The invitation was delivered to the Amir of Kuwait by Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Latif Al Zayani who engaged in a meeting with Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad at the Bayan Palace in Kuwait.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Al-Zayani briefed the Emir of Kuwait on the ongoing preparations for the meeting of the next session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The 40th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on December 10, chaired by Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, preceded by a ministerial preparatory meeting on December 9.
