King Salman grants SAR 2.2 billion in aid to Saudi social security beneficiaries

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has directed that more than SAR 2.2 billion be spent in Ramadan aid for social security beneficiaries, according to Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi.

In a statement issued, Monday, the minister announced that social security recipients will receive 1,000 riyals for the family and 500 riyals for the dependent.

In the next hours, the relief sums are likely to be put straight into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

In the Hijri year 1443, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development issued the provisions of social security for new employees.

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development runs a social security system that comprises a monthly payment to the beneficiaries of the security.

As part of the Ministry’s effort to give financial support to people who meet the declared conditions, the Ministry is working to disburse these financial amounts using Zakat money collected from corporations and institutions.
